Follow God's business principles and use your business to:

• Glorify God
• Spread the Good News of Jesus’ Death and Resurrection! (Luke 24:46-47)
• “Make disciples of the nations.” (Matt 28-18-20; Mark 16:15)
• Serve others following Christ’s example. (1 John 4:11)
• Care for the customers and distributors needs before our own (Matt 23:11)
• Being good stewards of what God has given us.
• Actively make a profit. (Col 3:22-24; Proverbs 13:4)

God’s Business Model:

The natural order for a Christian in business is as follows:

God --> Customers --> You

Let me explain. God is the Boss, the Chief, the Head, and/or the Leader. No matter how you put it, He’s in charge! That’s why He is first.

After God, our business should focus on our customers. God calls us to “serve one another in love”. Having your own business can be a good way to obey this command.

It enables us to really care for the needs of our customers by providing them with valuable products and/or information that has the potential to enrich their lives.

“But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”—Matt 23:11-12 (NKJV)

According to God’s business model, you, as the businessman, should be your last concern. Of course, you have needs too, but God knows what those needs are. In fact, He knows your needs better than you do.

“For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.”—Matt 6:8 (NKJV)

So, you can rest easy knowing that you are in God’s will if you follow these simple guidelines:

• “Seek first the Kingdom of God.”
• Serve your customers in a manner that glorifies our God and Savior.
• Remember, our Heavenly Father will provide for your needs.
